League Street School 6th Grades, along with Mrs. Loomis, Mrs. Long, Mrs. Englehart and Mr. Swartz started something new last Quarter.
Any student that was interested completed an application. A description of the News Team was given to the teachers to review with the students before the written application process began. Once the applications were submitted, they were reviewed with Principal and ELA input. There were also some interviews to ensure the understanding of the commitment.
There were many applications turned in. This was a huge process just to do the selection with many discussions and thoughts going into this. They committee was looking for responsible, positive, and creative students to join the Kepler's Korner team. They needed to help write stores, take photos, and share how Kepler helps students in grades 2-6 in the Norwalk District.
After careful consideration and hard work we have completed the first issue!
