If NCSD is closed or delayed due to inclement weather, it will be announced via an ALERT call, text and/or email, posted on our website and Facebook. We have recently transitioned from OneCall to ALERTS, in busy weather events, we are contacting large quantities of numbers via text and phone calls. While we hope this transition will go seamlessly there may be glitches. If you do not receive a call/email/text you can also check the area radio/TV Stations for delay and closing information.
Download the NEW Norwalk City School District app from the iOS App Store OR Android Play store and enable notifications - this will not be the same as our ALERTS, but delays and closings will be sent this way. QR Code is located in the website homepage gallery.
