Last week, our League Street staff showed off their creativity during Underground Teacher Spirit Week! 🎉 From “Unlikely Professions” on Monday to “Zoom Day” Friday, each theme brought plenty of laughs and camaraderie — including all-black Tuesday, student look-alike Wednesday, and our favorite tacky tourists on Thursday! Great work to our amazing staff for bringing the fun, teamwork, and underground energy all week long!

Students on the 5th Grade Blue Team recently explored the importance of balance within ecosystems through a creative science project. Each student designed a food chain and examined what would happen if one key organism went missing. They had a lot of fun creating the projects and presenting them. Good work, Team Blue! 💙

“October was a busy month for 6th grade. They had Red Ribbon week with an assembly I was a part of and tons of red tickets for being so positive. That means I also get some special times with students. We played fetch, tic-tac-toe, walked through the halls, and got my beautiful face on some pictures for students to take home. We have started November out doing great things and I see a lot of smiling faces too with students and staff. That really makes my day. I sure am glad to be a part of Norwalk!” ~ Kepler, School Facility Dog
