6th grade students in Mrs. Lindenberger's class spent 2 weeks creating and building paper rollercoasters. They competed for the longest, highest, fastest, and overall favorite coaster on the team.

Thank you.

Mrs. Bergman’s science class became paleontologists during a fossil dig using shale from Sylvania, Ohio! Students discovered real fossils including brachiopods, coral, and other ancient marine life hidden inside the rocks. This activity helped students learn about fossils, sedimentary rocks, and how Ohio was once covered by an ancient sea hundreds of millions of years ago. The best part — students were able to keep the fossils they found!

“Remember when I told you I couldn’t wait for spring? Well, it’s here! Because our 6th graders have been positive, polite, and prepared, I got to have some fun! Playing fetch in the courtyard and tic-tac-toe made this week pawsome! I can’t wait for more fun soon. Stay in the game!” ~ Kepler, SFD
