NERD Nation Robotics Teams competed in the Waterpark Rampage at the Kalahari Classic on Wednesday & Thursday, January 21-22. Congrats to team 3264E for making it to the semifinals and earning the Innovate Award. Team members are Declan Hanna, Addisyn Lewis, Cooper King, Menphis Mobberly, and Harrison Whitman.

The 4th Annual Boys Basketball "My Teacher Night" was held last night before the start of the varsity boys basketball game. All teachers and staff, present and past of Norwalk City Schools were recognized and thanked.
In addition, each of our players did a write-up on a teacher who has greatly impacted them and walked across the floor with that teacher

NERD Nation teams participated in the Late Shift at Elyria HS on Friday night, January 9. Team 3264K and 3264X finished the evening undefeated in qualification play. 3264J partnered with 3264T and lost in the first round. 3264E partnered with 8609X from Lorain HS and lost in the quarterfinals. 3264X partnered with 11124R from Elyria HS and lost in the semifinals. 3264K partnered with 11124X form Elyria HS and lost in the tournament finals. As well as doing well in the tournament portion, 3264T won the Innovate Award and 3264K won the Design Award.
Students from the 4th Grade White team were recognized for their Quarter 2 Achievements: Perfect Attendance, All A & B Honor Roll, and All A Honor Roll. Great job students!



The high school Academic Challenge team won their last regular season meet. They have finished the regular season tied for first place and will play in the finals.

Each time a student checked out a book, their name was entered into a drawing—and we’re excited to share that over 80 books were checked out during that time! 👏 🎉 Congratulations to our winner, Audryn! 🎉

CCP Stats did an experiment today to determine if you really walk in circles when you are lost. Students were blindfolded and challenged to walk as far as they could before they went out of bounds.

Mrs. Schlotterer’s Independent Living classes have been learning basic hand sewing techniques such as a running/basting stitch, a backstitch, a whipstitch, and how to sew on a button.
