The Norwalk Music Boosters is a group of volunteers who support the students in all of the music programs of the Norwalk Middle and High Schools.
The Norwalk Music Boosters provide funding for summer music camp programs and scholarships for graduating seniors continuing their education in music. The Norwalk Music Boosters provide lunches for band camp, as well as the purchase, repair, and cleaning of uniforms. The Music Boosters host receptions for the Annual Orchestra Festival and Music Awards Ceremony. We provide food for both marching bands at home football games.
Each year, the music programs are growing. Last year, over 40% of the student body at Norwalk High School was involved in band, orchestra and/or choir! Needless to say, we need to increase our membership, too!
This year, our "Blue Pride" Marching Band is under the leadership of Mr. Will Kish and Assistant Director Miss Melissa d’Aliberti. Our Norwalk High School Orchestra is under the direction of Mr Brian Stitak. Our Concert and Select Choirs are directed by Mrs. Carol Mason.
The Norwalk Music Boosters meet the 4th Tuesday of every month at 7 pm during the school year in the Choir Room at Norwalk High School. Please join us at our next meeting.
