STEPS FOR ENROLLING A STUDENT:
Norwalk City School District is excited to announce that starting with the 2021-2022 school year, we have partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service, to enroll new K-12 students online. If you are enrolling a student for the 2020-2021 school year, you will want to contact Sandi Stewart or Michelle Sandor at the number below.
If you are a RESIDENT of Norwalk City School District:
If you do not have an existing FinalForms account, please click here to create one. If you do not have access to a computer or smart phone, please contact the building your child(ren) will attend to set up an appointment in which you will be provided a computer and any assistance needed. Parents with existing FinalForms accounts should click here to log in and fill out the online enrollment packet.
After you submit your forms online, you MUST call for an appointment to complete registration.

A custodial parent or legal guardian must bring the following documents when you come to your appointment.
Child’s Birth Certificate
Parent/Guardian Driver’s License or State Issued ID Card
Student’s Immunization Records
Proof of Residency
Home Owner – Two of the following must be presented: Tax Bill, Mortgage Coupon, Insurance Statement, Declaration Pay Check Stub, Bank Statement, Signed Purchase Agreement with Occupancy Date, or any other official documentation deemed appropriate by the superintendent that is issued to the parent or student and includes the address of the parent’s or student’s primary residence.
Tenant – Signed Lease Agreement with Property Owner
Proof of Custody (if applicable) – In the event of a legal separation or divorce, the parent who has legal custody must provide a complete copy of the court-ordered custody agreement that indicated the parent is the residential parent of the child for school purposes.
If you are a NON-RESIDENT:
The Norwalk City School District accepts students through open enrollment from any district in the state of Ohio. Acceptance is on a first come first served basis. Applications for open enrollment (click here for an application) will be accepted from May 1 - July 1. Open enrollment must be approved prior to registration and accepted student must reapply every year.
If approved for open enrollment, please continue with the enrollment process by following steps 1-3 above.
